Project Description

About the customer

In 1954 the Schmid family transformed the farm into an alpine inn. In 2021, the monolith became a village ensemble. The architecture comes from Baumschlager Eberle, the graphics from Zeughaus.

Logotype

The Vorarlberg graphic designer Othmar Motter (1927-2010) left his mark on the graphics of his time and region. For the Peterhof we use his typeface "Festival".

Brand Basics

The logotype is supported by a system of geometric floral illustrations. Robust, timeless and reminiscent of the ornaments of regional carpentry, they form an emotional framework for the simple brand.

Signage

The topology of the site with the chalets gave us the idea to work with flowers of different heights. The chalets thus identify themselves, in addition to a number, with a flower. They are also used ornamentally, as can be seen below on the shingled facades.
