The Five Continents Museum in Munich, the former State Museum of Ethnology, has a collection of 160,000 works of art, everyday and ritual objects from non-European peoples, 135,000 photographs and a specialist library with over 100,000 books. It offers safe access to the cultural wealth of people all over the world. The corporate design newly developed by Schmid/Widmaier reflects the cosmopolitanism of the company with its clarity and boldness and at the same time guarantees a strong and recognizable identity and visibility in all channels and advertising measures. The core element of the design is the stylized globe, which also represents a 5, a symbol for the unity and cohesion of all continents and cultures.
