While opening its second location on the Schlossberg, the Graz Museum wanted to whitewash something for once. And not the history of the city but its design concept.
The logo we developed keeps the identity of the two museums together - but clearly separates the two worlds in which they are located. Thus, the target group - all those interested in museums - looks from the lofty Schlossberg, recognizable in the upper element of the signet, directly to its forerunner in the center of the city. Playing with the typeface is also an expression of the museum's concept: the self-proclaimed identity laboratory combines the present with history. It thus promotes an engagement with one's own city.
