The city of Bregenz without the Bregenzer Festspiele was unthinkable - until 2020. Due to the pandemic. To show that the city stands for culture and art in manifold differnt ways - small exhibitions and concerts it needed a bold and unique design to communicate that. The campaign shows in a very subtle and humorous way that this year is - special - very special - nevertheless with a interesting cultural programm. The titel takes different perspectives in the communication an is very variable. The concious use of blurry emojis as signs of the changing communication mediums during this time gives a volitional irritation. The CI of the City was expanded to a signal yellow. The flags and posters where applicated through the whole city leading the attention to this years special programm.
