We have the power to direct our focus to the important and beautiful things. With the treasure of all our experiences, we create the world in which we - and our descendants - love to live.
It is we who decide how we want to spend our time. When we work and when we relax. When we are active and when we are lazy. How much time we devote to others - or to ourselves. The juxtaposition of the cycles creates opportunities to put moments in perspective. The numbering of each day makes the periods visible. Free time is literally liberated, as there is no highlighting of weekends, Sundays or holidays.
With this calendar, we are bringing a piece of the non-digital age back into our living rooms. Its typography and design are deliberate analogies to old pocket watches and a forgotten way of depicting and understanding time.
