Since 1993, the „Referat Frauen & Gleichstellung“ has been providing information about events, offers, and topics relevant to women in Graz. Events are held on international days of action, women-specific service and advice facilities are promoted and women-specific campaigns are implemented. Since September 2020 there has also been an Instagram account www.instagram.com/grazerin.jungundstark which is aimed specifically at the younger target group. The aim is to keep girls and young women up to date on offers and events and to inform them about current projects. Topics are body positivity, "enthusiastic about technical jobs", menstruation, school and friends, feminist literature, catcalling, help and empowerment offers and associations as well as the project "Luisa ist da". Above all it is intended to encourage girls and young women between the ages of 13 and 29 to act independently.
