About the client

The Schaffarei is the "new historical core" of the AK Vorarlberg Campus in Feldkirch. In addition to offering seminar rooms for advanced training, the Schaffarei researches and works on the topic of work culture.

Orientation

The semicircles of the CD run through the glass surfaces as tarnish protection, implemented in shades of transparency and gray. The room signage is based on plug-in letter panels that quote past eras of office and work culture.

Visitor guidance

The path to the Schaffarei leads through an underpass. The showcases are illuminated signposts, while the concrete pedestal and advertising pillar also play their part in orientation.

Facade

Two illuminated signs with real, handmade neon tubes adorn the facade of the building. They were traditionally manufactured in a Swiss specialist company. "Who creates the work" - Beate Hartinger-Klein's infamous slogan adorns the bicycle garage in concrete letters. It was chosen as the motto.
