This project contains the development and signage of a track, that makes traditional crafts and industries of the city Dornbirn accessible and perceptible. The total length of the city trail is around 6.5 kilometers, ideal for a bicycle tour; a shorter version is planned for a leisurely walk. Base stations at important locations invite people to linger, information points explain the development in Dornbirn’s industrial history, and pointers draw the eye to interesting buildings or artefacts. On site, interesting texts and illustrations narrate stories and history.

An app facilitates the navigation and provides content within videos, audio samples and interviews. With the conscious examination of its history, the living space is given additional values on various levels.
