The exhibition about the Elisabethines tells of the transition between hospital and convent, of the uncertainties and challenges, of enormous drive and trust in God. On eight tables - symbols of community and care, the milestones of this journey are depicted. The Sonnengesangs-Mosaik by Bengt Olof Kälde is the defining motif: in this way the chronology and values of the Order are presented as a mosaic in a clear hierarchy of information, in the sense of a "great whole which is more than the sum of its parts" - complemented by dense collages of texts and historical images. The protagonists of history enter into dialogue with the visitors as portraits. Our task here was to link the different layers of information and bring them together in a coherent way. From the presentation of the contents in the sense of the “spirit of the house" to the sensual and spatial representation forms to a digital journey through time.
