A folding object made of card (41×41cm, open 125×125cm). 9 plates (includes 6 inserts on watercolour paper, each 37×37cm and originally provided for each artist to use); black paper and card, black linen binding.

The recent situation has shown that the ready availability of art in galleries, exhibition spaces and museums to the public can no longer be taken for granted. The project is conceived as a kind of portable mobile exhibition to allow free access to artworks in any space.
The project brings together six artists, each of whom contributes one work to the exhibition. These works are mounted on interconnected panels in a fold-out box. The box with the works is conceived as a carefully executed art object and can be easily folded back up and taken anywhere. The ars portabilis provides potential as an original form of exhibition where artists and their artworks can be curated together.
