Mama Matters is a Viennese start-up that promotes the well-being and
appreciation of all mothers with natural self-care products. After two years of a
global pandemic that had a major impact on family life, it is more apparent
than ever that mothers deserve more recognition for their labour. That is why
Mama Matters wanted to empower moms in Vienna whilest promoting their
boutique store.
The "hidden" powers of mothers were demonstrated through a light installation
using typography that carries an equally "hidden" message: The term "MOM"
was mounted on the billboard in individual letters, which cast a shadow that
spells out "WOW" when the light hits it: Revealing the true message of the
billboard - just like the great achievements of all mothers, which mostly remain
hidden.
