Amidst a mass of serious, often overly dramatic, even frightening and condescending social awareness posters calling for self-quarantine during the first Corona pandemic I went for a more relaxed tone of communication – to offer a moment of ease in very tense and anxious times, to comment on the patronising communication tone of the vast majority of overwhelming poster production on the topic (how condescending of me), but to raise awareness as well.
This was also the time when the current government’s corrupt actions related to the pandemic were exposed, resulting in an alternative version of the poster as comment.
