Machine Breathes, But I don't. Exhibition Identity
Project Description
The “Machine Breathes, But I don't” exhibition was held in Minsk in 2021 and was dedicated to the struggle of the Belarusian civil society and opposition against the Lukashenko regime during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result, the organizers of the exhibition were persecuted by the government. Some were prosecuted, some were arrested, and some were forced to leave their country.
The identity of the project is based on a combination of handwritten names of the project (each time different) and a white-red-white historical Belarusian flag "hidden" in the graphics (currently it is an opposition symbol and is banned from use by the self-proclaimed President Lukashenko).
