The latest issue of the Ensemble Modern's biannual magazine highlights, among other things, the new project by musician Manos Tsangari, who with "Pygmalia" has created a music theatre that fascinates the listener with more than just one perspective. The audience takes a seat on both sides of the stage, switches sides and experiences the music, scene and video installation over and over again.
This edition of the magazine is also accentuated with a neon colour. Music is sometimes presented in a floating light with filigree 3D elements or in an ultra-modern way with reference to digital screens. Eye-catching circular shapes that look as if they have been sprayed on direct the focus to strong typographic signals. The signet-like use of bold typefaces alternates with fine, digital-looking typography, paving the way for the very modern music of the Ensemble Modern.
A concert calendar is included as a folded poster with each issue.
