Project Description

For over a year now, the university magazine "DIPLOMAgazin" has been on a mission to appropriately combine a decentralised and virtual university into a culture of teaching and learning. This pedagogical ambition is at the core of the creative curiosity about how an online magazine can emerge and develop in the everyday life of a distance learning university.

Authorial texts and illustrations have a central function here. There, they communicate how these new forms of thinking, feeling and working appear in the everyday reality of students, lecturers and the administration.

It is explicitly not about the embellished marketing reality, but about all the nuances and also dark sides of digital work in and at a university in transition. The illustrations by students tell of these hybrid worlds of learning and working between the first semester in the Bachelor's degree and the final thesis in the Master's degree.
