The »Hummelfreund«, or Bumblebee-friend, is a guide made to classify bumblebees – these highly sympathetic insects, of which there are many more species than one might think. To understand them better, identify them and to protect them is a goal of this book. Design, text and illustration are directed towards all friends of nature, especially to children and teenagers. Just as approachable, diverse and empathetic as the animals is the design, the implementation ecological, practical and durable.
