Technology, art and cuisine at Hangar-7 at the Salzburg Airport: The two Michelin-stars awarded Restaurant Ikarus offers one of the most exciting restaurant concepts: The world’s best chefs take turns each month at creating elaborate dishes for the Ikarus guests.
Comprising ten chapters and 344 pages: In addition to the recipes of the five signature dishes of each guest chef’s menu, a personal and hand-written credo, a glimpse behind the scenes of Restaurant Ikarus and a report on the chef’s home restaurant, it is the expressive portraits of the chefs that distinguish the coffeetable book this time: We staged the first pages of each guest-chef chapter with silver print on black uncoated paper coloured in the mass, which is produced with light-fast pigments. The portraits and signatures, the biographical data of the chefs as well as the architectural pictures of Hangar-7 are UV-printed with silver, including hot-foil stamping and embossing on the book jacket.
