Grafikmagazin was founded in 2020 and addresses creatives in the German-speaking countries.
The printed magazine aims to inspire and to inform, but its main goal is to underline the strengths and benefits of printed communication. Each issue is being printed on 3 different papers, plus a varying material for the cover. And with each new issue Grafikmagazin experiments with different printing and print finishing techniques.
Issue 06.21 was ambitious even by our standards. We used digital printing to produce 3D varnish and hotfoil applications as well as graphics that are all different. And a continuous numbering at the bottom of the cover shows which issue you’re holding in your hands: from 0001 to 3000. So every issue is unique.
Grafikmagazin shows what printing can do today. We don't just write about inspiration, we make our readers see it with their own eyes, hear it, smell it, feel it.
Grafikmagazin is about communication for all senses.
