«Swissgas AG» operates and maintains the gas supply network in Switzerland. For their 50th anniversary annual report, our studio was commissioned to combine an adaption of the company’s Visual Identity with a concept for communicating their core competencies. The question «What requires a second glance?» is answered via image arrangements consisting of wide- and detailed shots, in order to highlight the often invisible safety-related efforts of the gas-transit provider. Upon opening the wrap-around cover, the front of the publication can be viewed as traditional double-page spreads, while the reverse side allows reading and viewing along a 5m accordion-fold design. The 3-D object unifies an adjustment of the Identity and the company’s annual report with the anniversary-editorial «A look back», highlighting milestones and achievements of the 50-year old company within a larger social context.
