Project Description

DESCRIPTION

A Romanian variety par excellence, with a history spanning millennia, all the way back to ancient Dacia, Feteasca Neagra stands apart among the Valeaeden wines. The concept draws from the name’s fluid etymology: alluding to the fairies /maenads / bacchantes and their dance, and blending it together with Tirol’s local history of dance and traditional music.

SOWING PATIENCE - THE FETEASCA NEAGRA CONCEPT
Evolution through time and the virtue of patience.

Hidden in plain sight - behind each illustrated bacchante lays a letter which will be gradually revealed. Each year the letters/bacchantes will evolve (formally but also semiotically) until the final moment when the actual soil of the VALEAEDEN vineyards will be brought at it's best form. Then and only then, after almost 9 years, will the name of this special wine be fully revealed by the completion of the 9 various labels. This years label starts with the baccante's pose for the letter "T"
