As Visual Artist, Romy Schwingenschuh loves to experiment with different material techniques and also likes to see her illustrations on textiles.
Fashion influences the artist and her work on a daily basis. "La grande bellezza" was originally created as a portrait, drawn with ink on paper.
She then decided to present the portrait printed on a transparent chiffon cloth in an illustrated metal box. Specifically in its function as an art piece, as a shawl or scarf that you can either wear or give away with the accompanying gift box.
The printed metal box (22x16cm) is also suitable for small utensils, the cloth in the 90x90cm format as an design piece for interior decoration. The illustrated metal box shows the subject on the cover and refers to the color of the cloth in the box. The gift box and the accompanying cloth are available in different shades of color.
