For the Zahel family, making wine means creating something in harmony with nature and with a love for craftsmanship. As a symbol of their sustainable work, the butterflies in the vineyard now also needed to be visible on the labels.

The handmade logotype is the embodiment of the philosophy and principles of the family business. The toned down, warm colour scheme is based on the sunrise and sunset over Vienna and lays the ideal groundwork for the core element of the design to shine: the butterflies. Fluttering from one label to the next, butterflies of different appearance and sizes connect the entire wine range. The butterfly artwork was created by Hilary Merzbacher-Zahel, herself a member of the family.
