S/O YELLOW is a roastery for speciality coffee from Munich that stands for high-quality beans with special flavour profiles. By inventing the "Coffee Journey", by means of well known city names, we underline the diversity of the product range and at the same time offer customers orientation and help them to decide. The different roasts stand for the characteristic ways coffee is prepared and drunk in the metropolises.
Challenge:
To design the packaging in such a way that, in addition to its unifying basic design, it is also flexible and can be adapted to different bean profiles, product extensions or collaborations without effort. The founder's African family ties and the coffee's African roots were to be reflected in the design without using classic clichés.
