GIOIA is a special series designed for the Muscat-Ottonel white grape of the Agape Vineyard in Silagiu - Romania. Being a project for a very limited premium series this dessert wine allowed us to dedicate all the necessary attention for it's packaging.
The limit we established for ourselves on this project, GIOIA - which is the word for Happiness in italian, was to work on it ONLY in a state of authentic happiness (joy).
The experiment was to see if the cathartic joy (while designing it) can be translated by the designed thing itself to other people.
It definitely worked for us - as it puts a smile on our faces each time, hopefully we managed to translate at least a tiny bit of that joy for other people as well.
