A blinking cursor at the beginning and a vast choice of popular code editor themes highlight the main target group of ‘MonoLisa’: developers
Besides the documentation of the most important features of the typeface (Spacing, Reading Flow, etc.) we provided the possibility to test MonoLisa in a quasi programming environment (‘Playground’) and compare these results to three other popular coding fonts.
The visual approach as a computer terminal lead to minimalistic, font focussed design.
A special detail is the possibility to chose OpenType features optionally and individually so that users can build and download their made-to-measure typeface.
In the near future monolisa.dev will offer a ‘variable’ version to provide an even greater flexibility
