A book that tells about Czech, Silesian and Moravian cities. It tells of their history, of
the regions in which they are located, of the people who live in them, of the
buildings that were built to stand there forever. It is a book that encourages the
reader to set out on a journey to go and get to know each city himself, to explore it,
to live in it for at least a while, to wander the streets and devote time to it.
This book is also a songbook. A song that has been sung since ancient times will be
heard in the ears of readers. In some places in the book there are illustrations, which are here to just stay in one place. Whether it is a waking village, an old village square, a meadow in an oak grove, a busy square or a picturesque town in the mountains.
