My illustrations for The Story of Time, a children’s book that I wrote and also made available through self-publishing.
It's a heartwarming story about the passing of time and an unusually special friendship born on top of a cherry tree. This is a book that adults will enjoy too. It will have a different meaning based on which period of life they choose to read it. A fascinating read for kids, with detailed illustrations and an emotional adventure for young adults, parents and grandparents alike.
Natalie, is just a little girl when she meets Mr Time. He decides to reveal himself to her on the day she’s crying on top of a cherry tree. He tells her about his role in life and the importance of experiencing both good times and bad ones. He talks about his life and family. How he met his wife when she was called Impatience and how she turned into Patience through the years. We meet their children, the tiny Moments and the book ends with Natalie as old lady, remembering his wise words.
