Seymour the Seaplane" entirely designed and illustrated in my 3D paper sculptures for author, Barbara Audas who with her husband own and operate the Melbourne Seaplane tourist business. The real life plane was the inspiration for her character and story. Pages gloriously showing up how the dimensionality of the original artworks lift off the page like you can touch them. I believe there's an authenticity about such art that CGI somehow just doesn't catch. Kids love them! Each page is an original 3D artwork I design, create and photograph for reproduction. Even the cover title is hand created from paper in 3D.
