„Vogelperspektiven - G‘schichten übers Miteinander“ (Birds‘s Eye Views - Stories about Togetherness) is a book that humorously explains the problem of a lack of tolerance. Through five stories that take place in the blackbird world, it shows that it does make a difference how one expresses oneself. In fact, many different factors are involved in discrimination, and the most helpful tool against it is knowledge and information. After the five blackbird stories in poem form, where in each case one blackbird is antagonized by the other four, there follows a glossary that explains terms such as feminism, gender, skin color or privilege on an equal footing. The concept behind the book is a "trick into the topic" so that the reader doesn't immediately discover that the real topic is a lack of tolerance and not a blackbird dispute. Thus, it is a book to give as a gift, to be able to solve reoccurring discussions at family gatherings without any conflicts.
