In 2021, on the occasion of the International Women's Day on March 8, the Wiener Zeitung published several articles focusing on the role of women in society from different perspectives. The unifying and highlighting visual element here is a series of form-aesthetic illustrations with collage elements. Geometric, partially abstracted forms convey stylistic timelessness and clarity. This is reinforced by a color palette of primary colors, which has been complemented with screened photographs in black. Because of the political topic, the illustrations are intended to appear serious, but at the same time they also bring variety into the gray everyday newspaper life.
