There’s a legal dispute going on in China for infamous energy drink Red Bull. For years now Thai Yoovidhya-Clan and Chinese owner Yan Bin are fighting a legal war the media calls „battle of billionaires“. It’s a battle about market power, contract interpretations and, of course, about a lot of money.

Creative Director Fabian Lang asked to come up with a creative interpretation of this scenario for a full spread illustration in their next issue of Dossier. I did several concepts and this was the winning one. – The idea was a setting like an ancient fight over territory in Asia.
