This is a wallpaper wall mural design for a cafe. The client and owner of the cafe is Yemi Penn who is an entrepreneur, mindset coach and advocate for self-empowerment. She helps individuals in discovering and becoming their authentic selves.
The cafes name is 'The Golden Thread' which references the Japanese word ‘Kintsugi’ (meaning to join with gold).
The client approached me asking for a wall mural that incorporates the cafes name and the clients mindset goals.
I designed the mural and concept. The golden threads throughout the mural help guide the viewer through inspirational and motivating messages encouraging them to become their authentic selves. The design references a subtle modern day red riding hood.
I also created a short piece of text to accompany the mural which explains the themes further.
