The project is a part of the #LazarusEffekt awareness campaign using black and white vector illustrations of representatives from flora and fauna that are currently or were subject to the German Lazarus-Effect.
The Lazarus-Effect describes the state of a previously lost or considered extinct form of life (by accident, through expedition or through relocation projects), the recurrence of which is or has been proven. The Lazarus Effect is based on the theme of the Lazarus-Effect, as coined by paleontologist David Jablonski.
