Jöslar is not only a bar, but also a cinema and a café. Guni Fetz - the owner - is a real film connoisseur and movie lover. In the rural surroundings of the region called Bregenzerwald, there is no cinema at all. That is why he decided to open up one on his own. As a holder of a touring cinema license, he shows arthouse movies every Sunday at Jöslar. To picture his love for the cinematographic arts, illustrations for beer coasters, posters and bags were developed, to show well known film-stills that were transferred into the surroundings of Jöslar. Uma Thurman and John Travolta for example are doing their famous Pulp Fiction dance on top of the tables at Jöslar. The Big Lebowski takes a break on the Jöslar’s rest room and Nosferatu just leaves Jöslar bar after a nice drink. The beer coasters backsides also work as little notebooks. Guests can list their consumed drinks and at the end of the night, just hand it over to the waiter or the waitress.
