Project Description

The national day is a well celebrated holiday in Luxembourg. Caused by covid-19 the national day could not take place as usual. The commune of Suessem asked us to create a gift for there citizens. The goal was to create something which inspiere to celebrate the national day at home. We wanted to bring a smile in to the faces. The lion is the heraldic animal from Luxembourg. We designed trivets with 10 different illustration styles from the lion. The word “Léiw” with w meens “lion”. “Léif” with f meens “nice” and the pronunciation is the same to “Léiw”. “oh, wéi Léiw” meens “how lionly” and it sounds like “how nicely” too.
