21 is a short animation that discusses the numerous side effects of the contraceptive pill. Although the most common effects of this contraceptive method are well known, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Research on contraceptives is also stagnating. While for most drugs 20% of sales are used for research, for the pill it is only 2%. 21 is intended to stimulate discourse and to encourage people to think about their personal experience with the pill. Hormonal contraception should not be condemned, but critically questioned.
