And She Was Like: BÄM! is a queer-feminist, non-commercial initiative that operates in the field of art and design and advocates for self-determination, equality, and solidarity through formats and events for (self-)education and exchange.

The illustrations submitted here have accompanied the initiative's monthly newsletter since 2020. Female personalities are still underrepresented in the media. The newsletter portrait thus presents a special FLINTA from various fields every month.

Since initiated in 2019, the project has resulted in an extensive portrait series that will be continued and translated into other media formats. The illustrations have already been published as And She Was Like: BÄM! annual calendar. A book or zine publication is conceivable as an extension.
