Blaugeschönt
Project Description
Colors are omnipresent in the everyday life of a designer; I have dedicated a semester to the color "blue". A look at history virtually opens up a treasure trove of literature and works of art that shaped the color, and were in turn shaped by it. Once as valuable as gold, blue has always been special because pigments are rare in nature. To record the results of my research, I decided to use a color fan as a medium. The result is a leafy work that picks up on a different facet of the color on every page and at every angle, and in which one can browse for both information and inspiration.
